A new negative TV spot that appears to be getting heavy play in Kansas City targets Missouri GOP gubernatorial candidate John Brunner.
The 30-second ad hits Brunner, a St. Louis businessman, for several faults, including failure to pay his taxes on time.
The ad comes from an anonymous political committee called the LG PAC, which lists an address of 520 W. 103rd St. in Kansas City. The PAC later submitted an amendment with a Prairie Village address.
The group’s treasurer named on the Federal Election Commission report was Hank Monsees, who did not fill out the telephone number for the group.

It’s no surprise that John Brunner is being targeted by special interests with flat-out lies. John is the only
candidate who can't be bought and who is not looking to start, extend or jump-start a political career. The special
interests have good reason to fear John Brunner as Missouri's next governor, because John will stand up for
‘We the people’ to take our government back from the special interests, and get Missouri back on the right track.
Brunner faces three other candidates in the August primary: Catherine Hanaway, Eric Greitens and Peter Kinder.
