Prominent Democrats in the Kansas City area have made some interesting choices about the coming visit of President Barack Obama.
We’re told Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, who is on the ballot, will be with Obama in Kansas City. So will Gov. Jay Nixon, who isn’t on the ballot.
Sen. Claire McCaskill will skip the event — too busy in D.C. And Kansas governor candidate Paul Davis won’t make it over either.
We’re guessing Larry Sells will be around somewhere, too.
