Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida has added a Kansas City-area stop to his presidential itinerary.

The campaign says Rubio will appear at the Overland Park Marriott Friday evening. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the event starting an hour later.

Rubio follows Sen. Ted Cruz into Kansas. He’ll also campaign in Wichita and Topeka on Friday.

Kansas Republicans caucus Saturday.
