Maybe Bernie Sanders just likes it here.

After hosting a rally at Bartle Hall Wednesday, Sanders is on his way back to the area.

He’ll be in Lawrence Thursday evening for a rally either on, or near, the KU campus.

No details yet. We’ll share ‘em when we get ‘em.

The visit comes just two days before Kansas’ Saturday caucuses. With his second visit to the area, Sanders is clearly eying Kansas as a state he hopes to put in his win column in his ongoing battle with Hillary Clinton.

And he hopes that university students, who have shown up in droves at Sanders rallies across the country, can get him across the finish line.

The campaign of Republican Ted Cruz, meantime, has announced that the Texas senator will be at Johnson County Community College at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. More info here.
