of Kansas apparently remains intact.
Roberts, running for re-election next year, today endorsed Huelskamp, also assumed to be running.
Huelskamp’s willingness to share his conservative wisdom with the world has angered some in his own party. House leadership famously booted Huelskamp from the House Ag Committee this year, leaving the state unrepresented on the committee.
That doesn’t bother Roberts.
“Tim is a farmer from Fowler, and he has done a fine job representing the most productive Ag District in the country,” his statement said. “He has distinguished himself not only as a fighter for our Kansas values in Washington, but also as one of the leading conservatives in the entire Capitol.”
