Outside spender dumps $1 million into Kansas Senate race

Here comes the money.

The Ending Spending Action Fund told the FEC Saturday it has purchased $1,003,191 in “media placement” to oppose Greg Orman’s Senate candidacy.

Orman is reportedly raising money to try and respond. A crowd-sourced fundraiser called is asking for donations to help the independent.

Interestingly, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, chaired by Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas, hasn’t reported any spending in the race.
