President Donald Trump has picked a Topeka native to run his 2020 campaign.
Trump announced in a statement Tuesday that Brad Parscale will be his campaign manager. Parscale was the Trump campaign’s digital director during the 2016 election cycle.
In the press release announcing the move, one of Trump’s sons praised Parscale.
“Brad is an amazing talent and was pivotal to our success in 2016. He has our family’s complete trust and is the perfect person to be at the helm of the campaign,” Eric Trump said in a statement.
During an appearance in Topeka last year, Parscale talked about his faith in Trump’s 2016 election win.
“I believe truly in my heart, out of 300 whatever million Americans there are, I was the first person on this planet to know he won because I had the most raw data and everything was coming to me, just no one believed me yet,” Parscale said.
