Democrats are chuckling about a spelling error in a new Kevin Yoder campaign ad.
A freeze frame is above. The full ad is here (likely to be corrected at some point) with the error at :08: UPDATED: The ad was deleted about 15 minutes after our story was posted.
But there is also some pushback over the ad’s claim that opponent Jay Sidie didn’t vote in 2014.

“With Governor Brownback up for election and education funding in the balance, Sidie refused to vote against Brownback even last year,” the ad says.
While that might be true, it’s a pretty safe assumption that Yoder refused to vote against Brownback in 2014 as well. If Yoder did vote against Brownback — if he voted for Paul Davis — that would be news, and a big surprise.
The ad’s central point is valid, though: Sidie missed a lot of votes before running for office.
