With the November election a scant 14 days off, the two major-party candidates for Missouri governor on Monday announced campaign events in Kansas City.
At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Democrat Chris Koster will attend a Women’s Leadership Roundtable at the Central Exchange, 1020 Central St., in downtown Kansas City. An accompanying press release notes that Koster supports closing the wage gap and favors abortion rights. “He has also committed to securing more contracts with women and minority-owned business,” the statement said.
To RSVP for the event, email dturner@chriskoster.com.
At 7 p.m. Sunday, also in downtown Kansas City, Republican Eric Greitens will hold a rally with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who ran for president this year.
