Sam Brownback has been given another role in Donald Trump’s campaign for president.
The Kansas governor was among more than 30 people the Trump campaign named to its Catholic advisory group this week. In a press release, the campaign said the group will help advise the GOP nominee on issues important to Catholics and “other people of faith in America.”
The campaign said those issues include pro-life views, religious liberty and the “shining example” of a Catholic education.
Last month, Brownback was picked for the campaign’s agricultural advisory committee.
