The original caption: “Ready To Go Again — John Fritsch, a tackle who was forced out of the Chiefs’ training camp with an eye injury last year, is returning for another chance. Fritsch takes the initial step on the comeback trail by drawing his equipment from trainer Wayne Rudy (center) and Bobby Yarborough, equipment manager, (right).”

Retired Kansas City Chiefs team historian Bob Moore reports that Fritsch never made the team roster or played in a regular season game. Rudy died in 2009, and Yarborough died in 2013.
