MAKING A WISH and a contribution to the Children's Mercy hospital at the same time, Mayor H. Roe Bartle drops his donation into a coinbox in the base of the Country Club Plaza's newest fountain, a bronze boar. The boar, at Forty-seventh street and Wornall road, was officially unveiled yesterday by Miller Nichols (standing behind Bartle), who bought the figure in Italy. Standing on the edge of the fountain are Bonnie Oglesby (left), 6 years old, and her sister, Linda Oglesby, 2, nieces of Mrs. Bertha Newton, 3708 Thompson avenue. Both girls are former patients at the hospital. Holding the girls are Frank A. Theis, president of the city park board, and Miss Nancy Balsinger, 19, a student nurse at Providence hospital.
