A 38-year-old Kansas City man pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal charge of distributing child pornography over the internet.
Daniel C. Irwin admitted that he sent child pornography to an undercover police detective who was posing as the parent of two minor daughters.
According to federal prosecutors, Irwin attempted to provide the child pornography in exchange for a chance to have sex with the minor girls.
Irwin faces a sentence of five to 20 years in federal prison.
