KBI investigating police-involved shooting in Kansas City, Kansas

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating a police-involved shooting that occurred in Kansas City, Kansas, Friday, according to a post from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department on X, formerly Twitter.
No officers were injured in the Friday afternoon shooting, according to the post. One suspect was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition. The person’s identity was not released, nor, in the post were there any further details about the incident.
State Avenue remained blocked off Friday afternoon between North 84th Drive and 82nd Terrace, according to the post. Residents are asked to avoid the area.
