A man who posted a picture of himself holding a large amount of money was the victim of a beating and robbery, according to Overland Park police.
Two teenagers from Johnson County and a Kansas City, Kan., man were arrested in connection to the incident and on Friday they were charged with aggravated robbery.
The victim suffered a broken nose and a cut to his head, police said.
Police said the victim had met a teen girl last year on Tinder, a dating app, and they had remained in contact on the social media app Snapchat.

On Wednesday, when the victim posted on Snapchat a picture of himself holding money and "boasting," the girl contacted him and asked if she could come visit him.
He agreed, and when she arrived and he opened the door, he was assaulted by three males he didn't know. The girl who had invited him was also there, according to police.
Police arrested three of the suspects. A third male suspect is still at large.
On Friday, Johnson County prosecutors filed aggravated robbery charges against Lauren Jo Butler, 18, of Olathe, Kain OKeefe, 18, of the Stilwell area of Johnson County, and Martez Eugene Taylor, 22, of Kansas City, Kan.
Bond for each is set at $75,000. They had initial court appearances Friday afternoon and will be back in court May 31.
