A woman who tried to be a good Samaritan ended up being beaten by a man she had seen beating another woman inside a car in Lenexa traffic Sunday.
The man also took her phone and drove away with the other woman still in the car, police said.
Police are asking for help finding the car and the suspect.
The man was driving a late 1990s or early 2000s black Ford Mustang convertible with a Georgia license plate. He was described as black, in his early 20s with short hair.

The victim told police she was stopped in traffic in the 11700 block of West 87th Street about 1:30 p.m. Sunday when she saw a man beating a woman in the car next to her.
She got out of her car to help the woman and the man got out and punched her in the face "multiple times," police said. She was knocked to the ground and she dropped her phone. The man took her phone and drove away.
