Two trucks, a paint trailer and various tools were stolen from the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., last week.
Officials with the Speedway said Thursday they are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest of the person or people responsible.
“I ask anyone that has any knowledge about this theft to please contact the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department immediately,” said Patrick Warren, president of the Speedway, in a news release. “I’m also asking for everyone to keep their eyes open in case anyone attempts to sell any of these items and to contact the police immediately.”
The items, which were stolen on Jan. 30, are worth as much as $100,000, according to KCTV5. Warren told the outlet he believes crime was committed with “some kind of inside knowledge” of the facility.
