A Lenexa school was locked down briefly Thursday after a suspected burglar fell through the ceiling and hid inside the building.
The incident occurred just before noon Thursday at the Holy Trinity Early Education Center at 92nd and Summit streets when a man fell through ceiling, according to officials.
Firefighters were initially called to check the man for possible injuries, but police were called when the man became “combative” and fled from them into what police said was the Adoration Chapel.
The school was place in lock down until officer found and arrested the man in the chapel about 20 minutes after the initial incident.

Police said that he had no connection to the school and it was believed that he was committing a burglary when he fell.
