Interim Kansas City Police Chief David Zimmerman and Mayor Sly James will meet with residents on the East Side on Wednesday to talk about crime and prevention.
It is the second effort since last month, when the officials met with people in south Kansas City.
Zimmerman and James will hold a question and answer session at 6 p.m. at the Police Athletic League Center, 1801 White Ave. Children are welcome. Afterward, officials will go door to door near the athletic center to talk to residents.
A third engagement will be in Kansas City, North, on a date to be announced.
