A 37-year-old man pleaded guilty Wednesday to the “one-time thing” robbery of a Kansas City, Kan., bank earlier this year.
Andre U. Randle admitted in federal court that he robbed the U.S. Bank at 10959 Parallel Parkway last Feb. 1.
According to court court records, Randle handed a note to a teller that read, “I have 2 guns. Don’t make me use them.”
The teller put money in a purple pillow case and Randle fled the area in a vehicle. A Kansas City, Kan., police officer spotted the vehicle and pulled it over.

Randle got out of the vehicle, carrying a purple pillow case, and was arrested. He told police that the robbery was a one-time thing and he didn’t want to hurt anybody, according to the documents.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 11 in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan.
