A man from Daviess County, Mo., was arrested this week in Illinois in connection with an abduction of a bride-to-be.
Conrad E. Kaufman, 25, of Jamesport, Mo., was in Macon County Jail in Illinois on Saturday, awaiting a July 7 court date on a felony unlawful restraint charge.
He was also charged with felony kidnapping in Daviess County, where his bond is $65,000, according to court records.
His sister, the alleged kidnapping victim, was scheduled to be married Saturday, according to KCTV5.

The groom-to-be, John Graber, said Kaufman abducted the bride-to-be to keep the wedding from happening, according to KCTV5.
The wedding was still on for Saturday, according to the news station.
He was arraigned in Illinois on Thursday, according to court records.
