A U.S. Postal Service worker in Kansas City pleaded guilty Thursday to stealing mail.
Terry G. Williams, 55, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Kansas City after waiving his right to a grand jury.
Williams worked at a processing and distribution center and admitted that he stole items such as greeting cards, gift cards and Netflix DVDs from April 2015 to April 2016.
When federal agents approached Williams about the thefts, he dropped a bag he was carrying and ran but was tackled to the ground, according to prosecutors.
