Police responding to a report of shots being fired early Tuesday in Raytown found two people with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The double shooting happened about 1:40 a.m. in the 6700 block of Harris Avenue. Both victims were taken to a hospital.

Detectives continued to investigate the shooting.
