CRMPoint, a Shawnee-based company that specializes in customer relationship management consulting, has merged with an Arizona company that offers similar services.
Financial terms of the merger between CRMPoint and Tempe-based Precision Professionals were not disclosed.
The combined company, to be headquartered in Shawnee at 12616 W. 62nd Terr., will have 30 employees, including 15 locally, and revenue of about $3 million.
In addition to its Tempe office, Precision Professionals has a location in Apple Valley, Minn., near Minneapolis. CRMPoint also has offices in Houston and Orlando.
The merger will make CRMPoint one of the largest companies in the country offering customer relationship services to small- and medium-sized companies, the company said.
“The merger will double our capacity” Wes Weeks, chief executive officer and president of CRMPoint, said in a prepared statement.
Customer relationship management helps a business improve its interactions with current and potential customers. It often involves using technology to organize and automate sales, marketing, customer service and technical support.
