02/14/18 17:01 SUGAR CREEK ST, AUSTIN
On Feb. 14 at 2038 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 26500 block of East Sugar Creek Street in reference to a residential burglary. The subject reported that two semi-automatic pistols and a bird were stolen from the residence. No suspect has been identified.
02/12/18 20:25 HOLMES & MISSOURI 187, BELTON
On Feb. 12 at approximately 2021 hours, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling north on Prospect Avenue passing Cambridge Road at a high rate of speed. The vehicle initally fled from a vehicle stop and the driver eventually was placed in custody for driving while revoked, resisting arrest by fleeing and possession of an illegal weapon.

On Feb. 13, a deputy initiated a short vehicle pursuit in the area of Missouri Y and 196th Street, involving a white 1991 Buick LeSabre. Eventually, the vehicle stopped in a driveway in the 20000 block of South Stockman Road and the driver surrendered.

On Feb. 14 at approximately 1041 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 7600 block of Crown Park in reference to suspicious activity. The caller reported someone left a gift on her front porch that she did not want. The item was disposed of with out incident.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 0801 hours, a deputy was dispatched to 195th Street, west of Prospect Avenue, in reference to a two vehicle non-injury accident. Both drivers reported the accident.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 1211 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 20100 block of South Cleveland Avenue in reference to property damage. The subject said someone set fire to the cab of his truck. No suspects have been identified.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 1357 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 16300 block of Turnberry in the village of Loch Lloyd for a report of stealing. The subject said property was taken from his vehicle. A suspect has not been identified.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 1645 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 9100 block of East 201st Street in reference to a burglary. The subject said that his home had been broken into by force. A suspect has not been identified.
02/16/18 22:57 INTERSTATE 49/155TH ST, BELTON
On Feb. 16 at approximately 2257 hours, a deputy stopped a sliver Volkswagen Jetta at 155th Street and southbound Interstate 49. Two of three subjects in the car were found to have warrants from other jurisdictions and more than 35 grams of marijuana was located in the vehicle. Arrests were made.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 0845 hours, a deputy responded to the area of Missouri 2 just east of State Line near the railroad tracks in regards to an abandoned auto. The vehicle was removed by Miller Tow.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 1343 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 2400 block of East 231st Street in reference to a burglary. The victim said someone broke into his outbuilding and stole several items. No suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 0814 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of East 4th Street for a report of a stealing. The subject said tools were stolen out of his truck. No suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 1055 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of A Street for a report of stealing. The subject said property was stolen from her Dodge van. No suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 14 at approximately 1400 hours, the Cass County K-9 unit was requested to assist the U.S. Marshals Service and the Missouri State Highway Patrol in the 100 block of East Walnut Street. U.S. Marshals had located a wanted fugitive at the residence. The subject was arrested for a felony probation violation warrant through U.S. Marshals Service.

On Feb. 15 at 2333 hours, a deputy spoke with two subjects at a residence in the 28600 block of East 239th Street in reference to both subjects being afraid of their son. A report was taken.
02/17/18 21:57 KIRCHER RD/ORIENT CEMETARY RD, EAST LYNNE
On Feb. 17 at approximately 2158 hours, a deputy attempted a stop a white Infiniti in the area of Kircher Road and Orient Cemetery Road. The vehicle failed to yield and lead deputies on a pursuit through rural East Lynne, Harrisonville, and Pleasant Hill. A suspect has been taken into custody in this incident.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 1050 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop of a gray 1998 Buick Park Avenue in the area of Missouri 2 and Interstate 49. With the assistance of the Garden City Police Department, paraphernalia was recovered from the vehicle.

On Feb. 13, a deputy investigated a report of stealing in the 2430o block of South Prettyman Road. The property owner reported that someone had stolen a tool bag and rifle from the cab of his John Deere tractor.

On Feb. 13 at approximately 2134 hours, a deputy responded to the 27400 block of South Tieman Road in reference to a disturbance in progress. A female victim had been struck in the face by the suspect. Both parties were separated.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 1342 hours, a deputy conducted a pedestrian check at a residence in the 22000 block of South Camp Branch Road. A female subject was let out of a vehicle and was attempting contact at the residence while no vehicles were home. She was contacted and placed in custody for an active Pleasant Hill warrant.

On Feb. 15, a deputy conducted a pedestrian check in a parking lot at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. A female subject was arrested for Raymore warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and, during a search incident to arrest, also was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 1656 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office for a report of an identity theft. The subject stated that someone had opened an account with Sprint under her name. No suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 1030 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 24500 block of South Blinker Light Road for a missing license plate. The subject said the license plate from his trailer was missing and he did not know when or where it was lost.

On Feb. 17 at approximately 0959 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Cass Regional Medical Center’s emergency room in reference to an animal bite. The victim said she was attacked by a cat.
02/17/18 18:45 MISSOURI 7/235TH ST, HARRISONVILLE
On Feb. 17 at approximately 1900 hours, deputies responded to the area of Missouri 7 and East 235th Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles were involved and one party was injured but refused medical treatment. In addition to the wrecked vehicles, there was a stalled vehicle along a curve, which was moved from the roadway with the use of a patrol vehicle push bumper.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 0927 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the 23300 block of East 315th Street in reference to a vehicle pulling a trailer with no license. The driver was contacted and found to have an active bench warrant for failure to appear for displaying or possessing plates of another. The driver was arrested.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 1921 hours, a deputy responded to Jassis Mart, 21406 E. 275th St., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. A white Ford Explorer was located in a no parking area and was removed per the request of the business.

On Feb. 14 at approximately 1240 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 24800 block of South Miller Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. The subject reported a 1999 Ford F250 had been stolen from the property. No suspect has been identified at this time.

On Feb. 12 at approximately 1349 hours, a deputy observed a male subject in the 300 block of North Missouri 7 in Pleasant Hill, which he recognized from previous contact and believed to have active warrants. The subject was taken into custody on warrants for fraudulent use of a credit device, operation of a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, two charges of careless and imprudent driving, speeding 26-30 over the posted speed limit, speeding 6-10 over the posted speed limit, and failure to register a motor vehicle.

On Feb. 14, a deputy responded to the 20200 block of South Johnson Drive regarding threats made. The subject said a neighbor was at his residence making threats to cause him bodily harm, and that the neighbor had poured diesel fuel on a tractor and threatened to light it on fire. A suspect has been identified.

On Feb. 15, a deputy responded to Missouri 291 and Missouri 58 in reference a motor vehicle accident. The driver had struck a deer with his vehicle.

On Feb. 17 at approximately 0202 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 17600 block of South Gray Drive in reference to a 911 misdial. A male subject was taken in custody for active Pleasant Hill warrants, but was later released after confirming he had already posted bond on those warrants.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 1208 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 19300 block of South Raffurty Road in reference to a residence check requested by Greenwood (Mo.) Police. One subject was contacted and taken into custody in reference to an assault. The suspect was released to Greenwood Police upon their arrival.

On Feb. 13 at approximately 2330 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop at Hubach Hill Road and Prairie Lane of a black 2005 GMC Envoy. The driver was issued a summons driving without a state license.
02/14/18 12:36 MULLEN AVE, RAYMORE
On Feb. 14 at 1235 hours, a deputy conducted a pedestrian check in the 1300 block of North Mullen Road on a white male wearing tan bib overalls and an orange hooded sweatshirt. The subject was arrested for an active felony warrant out of Cass County for first-degree tampering. He also was found to have eight active warrants for his arrest out of Pleasant Hill.

On Feb. 16 at approximately 0920 hours, deputies responded to assist the Peculiar Police Department with a vehicle pursuit in the area of 155th Street and Vogt Road. One suspect was identified.

On Feb. 17 at approximately 1524 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of South Lyne Avenue in reference to property damage. The subject said her neighbor’s dog “mauled” her pet chicken.
