Belton

04/18/18 02:28 NB 49/MISSOURI 58, BELTON

On April 18 at 0228 hours, a deputy attempted to conduct a vehicle stop on a suspect vehicle from a stealing at Walmart in Raymore. The vehicle failed to yield and the vehicle was pursued until it came to a stop at 103rd and Richmond in Kansas City, Mo. One party was taken into custody.

04/22/18 01:30 COUNTY LINE RD, BELTON

On April 22 at 0130 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the Welcome Inn in the 100 block of County Line Road in reference to providing K-9 assistance to the Belton Police Department, who were looking for a suspect wanted for a parole violation after committing a second-degree domestic assault that evening. K-9 Champ conducted an area search of the surrounding woods but the male suspect was not located.

Cleveland

04/16/18 18:35 PROSPECT AVE, CLEVELAND

On April 16 at approximately 1851 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 24100 block of Prospect Avenue for a reported stolen hay baler. A male subject stated that some time on April 13 someone stole his John Deere round hay baler from his barn. No suspect has been identified.

On April 21, a deputy investigated a burglary that occurred in the 22400 block of South Prospect, where a female subject stated that her shed was broken into and tools as well as a generator were taken.

Creighton

04/17/18 22:43 J ST, CREIGHTON

On April 17 at 2243 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of J Street in reference to an assault. A male subject advised she had been assaulted outside the residence. The suspects have been identified.

Garden City

04/17/18 01:37 MISSOURI F/MISSOURI 7, GARDEN CITY

On April 17 at 0137 hours, a deputy performed a traffic stop on a blue Ford Ranger after observing the vehicle cross the center line near Missouri F and Old Missouri 7. A male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

04/18/18 13:03 MISSOURI B, GARDEN CITY

On April 18 at approximately 1316 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 35200 block of Missouri B in reference to a report of stealing. A male subject stated someone stole the registration stickers from a vehicle license and some tools. No suspect has been identified.

04/22/18 18:54 MISSOURI 7/MISSOURI F, GARDEN CITY

On April 22 at 1857 hours, a deputy responded to Missouri F in reference to an assault. A female subject advised that she had been assaulted at Missouri 7 and Missouri F while in a vehicle. A suspect has been identified and taken into custody.

04/22/18 21:17 OLD MISSOURI 7, GARDEN CITY

On April 22 at approximately 2117 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check of a red Ford truck in a parking lot in the 600 block of Old Missouri 7. The driver left the vehicle unattended. A rifle was located near the truck and secured as found property.

Harrisonville

04/16/18 07:38 COMMERCIAL ST, HARRISONVILLE

On April 16 at approximately 0738 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop of a Mercury Mountaineer for a license violation near the 2300 block of S. Commercial St. A subject was arrested for active warrants from Independence Police Department.

04/16/18 13:12 235TH ST/MOPAC, HARRISONVILLE

On April 16, a deputy was dispatched to 235th and Mopac in reference to a stealing. The location of the theft was the gravel lot on the southeast corner of the intersection, where an employee stated that his company's 2012 Kubota UTV was stolen from the lot.

04/16/18 15:15 KAUFFMAN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On April 16 at approximately 1515 hours, a deputy responded to the 26100 block of South Kauffman Road in regards to a stealing. A male subject had several items stolen from his property. No suspect has been identified.

04/16/18 16:17 ELM/THUNDERBIRD, HARRISONVILLE

On April 16 at 1816 hours, a deputy responded to the intersection of Elm Street and Thunderbird Drive in reference to providing K-9 assistance to the Harrisonville Police Department during a traffic stop. K-9 Champ alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in a green and white 1998 Ford Ranger. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, narcotic paraphernalia was located along with a locked zippered case. The Harrisonville Police Department is seeking a search warrant for the locked case.

04/16/18 21:15 298TH ST, HARRISONVILLE

On April 16 at 2134 hours, a deputy contacted a female in the 22100 block of East 298th Street, who reported that an unknown person or persons attempted to enter her residence. No suspects have been identified.

04/17/18 22:51 BROOKHART DR, HARRISONVILLE

On April 17 at approximately 2317 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Love's Truck Stop on a blue Kia for unreadable plates. A passenger in the vehicle was arrested on multiple active warrants and transported to the jail.

04/19/18 19:15 MISSOURI 7/KIRCHER, HARRISONVILLE

On April 19, a deputy made contact with a female subject who stated that at approximately 1630 hours she was at the conservation area on Missouri 7 and Kircher, where a male subject stole her purse. A suspect has been identified in this incident.

04/21/18 05:22 MISSOURI 291/225TH ST, HARRISONVILLE

On April 21 at approximately 0522 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Missouri 291 and 225th Street on a black Ford F150. The male driver was arrested for an active warrant out of Troop A for no seat belt and transported to the Cass County jail for processing.

04/21/18 23:25 MCCLAIN/307TH, HARRISONVILLE

On April 21 at approximately 2325 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop near 307th and McClain on a black Ford for failing to use turn signal. The driver was arrested for driving on a suspended license and two active Cass County warrants.

04/22/18 17:43 MECHANIC ST, HARRISONVILLE

On April 22 at approximately 1655 hours, a deputy investigated an assault that occurred in a holding cell of the Cass County Jail. A suspect in the assault has been identified.

Peculiar

04/16/18 13:17 DONAHUE LN, PECULIAR

On April 16 at approximately 1317 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the area of 249th and Cowger for a report of a suspicious person. Two subjects were later located and arrested on two active Cass County warrants.

04/19/18 13:29 PECULIAR DR, PECULIAR

On April 19 at approximately 1336 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office lobby in regards to a report of stealing. A female subject reported an item stolen from the 24100 block of Peculiar Drive.

Pleasant Hill

04/16/18 14:17 MISSOURI 291, PLEASANT HILL

On April 16 at approximately 1449 hours, a deputy responded to the 17400 block of South Missouri 291 for a report of stealing. A subject said six tanks of propane were stolen over the weekend, valued at over $320. This investigation is ongoing.

04/17/18 17:49 MISSOURI 7/BROADWAY, PLEASANT HILL

On April 17 at 1749 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Missouri 7 and Broadway to provide K-9 assistance to the Pleasant Hill Police Department during a traffic stop. K-9 Champ alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia.

04/20/18 13:22 HENRY ANDREW DR, PLEASANT HILL

On April 20, a deputy investigated an identity theft in the 15700 block of Henry Andrew Drive, where a male subject reported that his name and social security number had been used on April 11 to open various accounts and loans.

04/20/18 22:52 MISSOURI 58/CARDINAL, PLEASANT HILL

On April 20 at 2252 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Missouri 58 and Cardinal to provide K-9 assistance to the Pleasant Hill Police Department during a traffic stop. K-9 Champ alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in a black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and during a probable cause search of the vehicle, methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia was located.

04/22/18 08:47 164TH ST, PLEASANT HILL

On April 22 at approximately 0849 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 32200 block of East 164th Street in reference to a reported motor vehicle theft. A male subject stated that between midnight and 0800 hours on April 21, a suspect took his 2004 Dodge 2500 without permission. A report was taken and the vehicle entered into the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement computer system as stolen.

04/22/18 22:37 MISSOURI 7/219TH ST, PLEASANT HILL

On April 22 at approximately 2237 hours, a deputy stopped a red Ford Focus on northbound Missouri 7 at 219th Street for careless and imprudent driving. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.

04/21/18 16:54 LYNE AVE, RAYMORE

On April 21 at approximately 1656 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1200 block of Lyne Ave. to the report of a disturbance. One subject was taken into custody.

Strasburg

04/16/18 09:56 MISSOURI E, STRASBURG

On April 16 at approximately 1002 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of W. MIssouri E for an information call. A female subject subsequently was arrested on an active Pleasant Hill Police Department warrant.
