A reward has been increased to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest or charges being filed in a 2016 arson case from Harrisonville.
The Greater KC Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline announced Nov. 16 in a news release that authorities are still seeking information from the public about a suspicious fire that occurred Dec. 13, 2016, at the Gaslight Plaza shopping mall in Harrisonville.
Seven businesses were impacted by the fire, which caused more than $1 million in loss and damage, according to the news release.
An additional $500 was recently added to the existing reward for anonymous information leading to an arrest in the case.
