07/19/17 08:28 190TH ST, BELTON
On July 19 at approximately 0828 hours, a deputy responded to the 8000 block of E. 190th St. in Belton in regard to a vehicle theft. A male reported that his 2005 Chevrolet 3500 Gold pickup was taken from his garage between 2100 on July 18 and 0820 July 19.

On July 19 at approximately 1548 hours, a deputy responded to the 4000 block of E. 187th St. in Belton in regard to a burglary. No suspect has been identified.
07/23/17 03:06 190TH ST, BELTON
On July 23 at approximately 0308 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of E. 190th St. in Belton in reference to a possible stolen vehicle. The victim had his 2008 black Ford Escape stolen from inside his garage between the hours of 2300 and 0300. No suspect information has been obtained.

On July 18, a deputy responded to the area of 278th Street and DD Highway for found property. Several vehicle batteries, chainsaws, radiators and heaters were discovered in the ditch of 278th Street by Cass County Road and Bridge. The items were collected and transported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 18, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of C Highway and Broadway of a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The driver, Christopher McColgin, was arrested for driving while revoked and transported to the Cass County Jail for processing.

On July 19 at approximately 1057 hours, a deputy responded to the 24000 block of State Route D in Cleveland in regard to an assault. A suspect was identified and cited.
07/19/17 11:49 MAIN ST, CLEVELAND
On July 19 at approximately 1149 hours, a deputy responded to the 300 block of E. Main St. in Cleveland in regard to a check forgery. The bank branch president stated that a white male had come in to the bank and cashed a check drawn off of the account of a deceased individual. A suspect has been identified.

On July 21 at approximately 1149 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Third St. in Creighton in reference to a report of burglary. The reporting party stated someone stole items from the residence while in the process of moving out. A suspect has not been identified.
07/18/17 13:40 CAMP BRANCH RD, EAST LYNNE
On July 18 at approximately 1346 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 23000 block of S. Camp Branch Rd. in East Lynne in reference to a report of recovered stolen property. A male stated he observed his stolen stock trailer on the property as he was driving past the location. The investigation revealed the stock trailer to be stolen and was recovered. A suspect has been identified.

On July 17 at approximately 1546 hours, a deputy conducted an investigation at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in regard to a report of property damage that occurred at a residence in the 27000 block of South Timer Ridge Road in rural Freeman. The deputy spoke with the reporting party and victim who stated that on July 13, he observed that he had damage to the rear glass sliding door to his residence. He stated he did not know when this damage occurred or who a possible suspect could be.

On July 22, at approximately 1234 hours, a deputy was dispatched to 2501 W. Mechanic St, Harrisonville in reference to a report of stealing. A male stated someone had stolen his wallet. A suspect has been identified.

On July 20, a deputy conducted a stealing investigation on E. 259th Street east of State Route M in Garden City, Missouri. The investigation revealed a chain and pad locks were stolen off the property. No suspects have been identified in this investigation at this time.
07/20/17 22:15 MAIN , GARDEN CITY
On July 20 at 2215 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street in Garden City in reference to a burglary. An investigation revealed that there was forced entry into the residence and a flat screen TV had been stolen. A possible suspect has been identified.

On July 22 at approximately 1559 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Lake Rd. in Garden City in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle. A female stated her Ford F250 truck was taken. No suspects have been identified.
07/18/17 01:00 240TH TER, HARRISONVILLE
On July 18 at approximately 0102 hours, a deputy was dispatched to 2501 W. Mechanic St. to meet with Division of Family Services in regard to an emergency visit to a rural Harrisonville residence to investigate an alleged sexual misconduct and sexual abuse allegation. All allegations were unfounded, according to the sheriff’s office.

On July 18 at approximately 1439 hours, a deputy responded to the intersection of Miller Road and 251st Street in rural Harrisonville in regard to a report of a firearm that was found. Upon speaking with the reporting party, he stated he found a pistol near the roadway. Upon inspecting the firearm, the deputy found it to be a C02 BB pistol.

On July 18 at approximately 1319, a deputy responded to the area of northbound I-49 and 307th Street in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the driver, who stated someone had fired an automatic rifle at his vehicle. No suspect or crime scene was identified.

On July 19 at approximately 1241 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 27000 block of State Route 7 in Harrisonville in reference to stolen property. The item was located, and a suspect has been identified.
07/19/17 15:16 WEST OUTER RD, HARRISONVILLE
On July 19 at approximately 1515 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 26000 block of E. 275th Street in reference to a stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male and gathered information for the report. A Rand McNally tablet was stolen from the business.

On July 20 at approximately 2344 hours, a deputy responded to the area of Bradley and Mechanic in Harrisonville to assist with a K-9 search of a vehicle.
07/21/17 09:28 NB 7 AT I-49, HARRISONVILLE
On July 21 at approximately 0941 hours, deputies assisted the Garden City Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle allegedly failed to stop for both the Clinton Police Department and Henry County Sheriff’s Department. One suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Cass County Jail after the vehicle was stopped on the Missouri 7 and I-49 entrance ramp. According to the Garden City Police Department, the driver, a 41-year-old woman from Grandview, was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including unlawful use of plates, speeding, failure to yield, driving while suspended, no insurance and several warrant for her arrest from multiple agencies. The Harrisonville Police Department also assisted in the incident.

On July 22 at approximately 1711 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 19000 block of E. 263rd Rd. outside of Harrisonville to a report of an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted the reporting party. An investigation determined an attempt had been made to burglarize her out building. A suspect has not yet been identified.

On July 22 at approximately 2230 hours, a deputy transported an inmate from the Cass County jail to Cass Regional Medical Center.
07/23/17 21:00 WEST OUTER RD, HARRISONVILLE
On July 23 at approximately 2106 hours, a deputy responded to the Sapp Bros gas station parking lot in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male subject who was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
07/23/17 21:23 BRICKPLANT RD, HARRISONVILLE
On July 23 at approximately 2126 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 26000 block of S. Brickplant Rd., Harrisonville for theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the reporting party, who stated someone stole several items of his and damaged his camper. A suspect was identified.

On July 23 at approximately 1641 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check of a white 1995 Chevy truck in the area of Ward Road and Raintree Parkway in Lee’s Summit. The driver of the vehicle had fled on foot after seeing the patrol vehicle. Narcotics and firearms were recovered from the vehicle prior to being towed.

On July 17, a deputy responded to the 12000 block of E. 250th Street in Peculiar in reference to trespassing. The reporting party said that two male subjects had come to his residence and made threats. Subjects have been identified.
07/21/17 23:48 SB 49/MM 164, PECULIAR
On July 21, a deputy attempted to stop a white Cadillac on southbound I-49 at mile marker 156. The vehicle eventually stopped at mile marker 154.4. The driver fled the scene of the vehicle stop and was later arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving without a valid license and resisting arrest by flight. A suspect has been identified and arrested in this incident.

On July 18 at approximately 0813 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 25000 block of State Route P in Pleasant Hill in reference to a report of a disturbance not in progress. A female stated she was assaulted by a male subject. A suspect has been identified.
07/18/17 19:31 175TH ST, PLEASANT HILL
On July 18, at approximately 1945 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 20000 block of E. 175th St. in reference to a stolen auto. The victim arrived at home at approximately 1600 hours on July 16. He woke up at approximately 1900 hours to find his 2013 white GMC Sierra missing. The vehicle has not been located and suspect has been identified.
07/19/17 21:17 WARD/58, RAYMORE
On July 19 at approximately 2117 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Ward Rd. near 58 Highway. A passenger, Sarah Bedford was arrested on a Henry County warrant for a traffic violation. Bond was set at $200 cash or surety. She was also arrested on a Harrisonville Police Department warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. A 30-day commitment was ordered. No court date was given upon arrest for either warrant. The driver was detained and later released pending the issuance of a warrant.

On July 19 at 2338 hours, a deputy attempted to make a lawful arrest of a male wanted for a felony warrant. The suspect fled on foot at which time the deputy deployed his patrol K-9, Champ, who apprehended the suspect.
07/22/17 04:03 NB 49/MM 170, RAYMORE
On July 22 at approximately 0404 hours, a deputy assisted with a motor vehicle accident in the area of northbound Interstate 49 near mile marker 170.2. An investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle fled from the scene of the crash. The driver was later located and arrested.
