The Pillsbury Observatory at William Jewell College will host an open house Friday to observe the star cluster M15.
If the night is clear, viewers will be able to see the star cluster in the constellation Pegasus, which is 33,000 light years from Earth and has a hundred thousand stars.
The viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Access to Pillsbury Observatory is through the White Science Center. Visitors should take the elevator to the fourth floor. There is a 50-step climb to the dome.
