Keats currently weighs 78 pounds, but he’s slightly underweight and still growing. Keats is an exceptionally sweet boy, loves to lean on people and is a great kisser! He’s slightly shy around other dogs but is in a foster home with several other dogs and doing very well. Keats is crate/house-trained and has good house manners, his foster mom reports.

Artemis came to the shelter in January 2008. Quiet and shy, he will do best in a home with a set schedule, people with plenty of time to spend time with him and patience to let him adjust. Artemis has been adopted and returned to the shelter twice due to litter box issues. Shelters are sometimes noisy and chaotic places, and Artemis does still occasionally show signs of this when he is stressed.
Once he warms up, Artemis is affectionate and playful. He loves catnip and enjoys head scratches, playing with wand toys and using a sisal scratching post. He is sensitive and needs to be the only pet in a quiet, calm home with a special person who will let him come out of his shell and will be willing to work on his litter box habits.
