Malala came to us in terrible condition — covered in scabs, with very little fur and emaciated. Now fully recovered, she’s a happy, healthy girl who loves other dogs and people. Malala is a shelter favorite and thrives on the attention she’s receiving. She’s crate-trained and appears to be house-trained. Her ideal home will include another playful dog to keep her company.

Damon is a big, sweet boy who came to us from another shelter. He had some sort of injury to his skin on his neck that has mainly healed, but we supplement his diet with salmon oil to keep the skin healthy. There is a scar and head tilt from the injury and his right eye has uveitis, so we do eye drops in his right eye and see an eye doctor every six months now. Damon is a survivor. He is FIV-positive and has had all his teeth removed, but he still loves to eat, play with a ping pong ball or laser pointer, and be brushed and massaged. Damon can be a little over-zealous with his food, so he might need some work in a home with other cats.
