Drivers headed east on Interstate 70 out of downtown Kansas City should prepare for delays just after Wednesday morning’s rush hour.
Various lanes of eastbound I-70 will be closed at the Jackson Avenue Curve from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday so that crews can replace bulbs in an overhead flashing warning sign that alerts drivers when they are going too fast.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is asking drivers to be alert and use caution when traveling through work zones.
