MoDOT worker rescues motorist after crash

A Missouri Department of Transportation employee saved a motorist who was trapped in her car after an accident in Saturday’s wintry weather. Plow driver David Winship found a smoking car turned on its side on Interstate 29 at Vivion Road. He used a pocketknife to cut open the car’s convertible top and pulled the driver to safety.
