October homicide victim identified as KC man

Kansas City police on Tuesday identified a man killed in a late October drive-by shooting as Demarcus L. Frazier, 19, of Kansas City.

The shooting occurred about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at 35th Street and Park Avenue. Police said two men were walking together when someone in a passing car began shooting at them. Frazier collapsed and died at the corner. Officers found the second victim down the street. That victim survived his injuries.

Frazier recently had violated probation for a tampering conviction connected to an armed carjacking last year, according to online court records.
