All 31 Missouri’s men’s basketball regular-season games for the 2013-14 season are set to be broadcast after the Mizzou Sports Network released its six-game schedule.
The Mizzou Sports Network games will be available in the Kansas City area on Fox Sports Kansas City and regionally on Fox Sports Midwest. Metro Sports had been the Mizzou Network affiliate before this season.
The Mizzou Sports Network’s first broadcast will be an exhibition game Oct. 25 against Oklahoma City in Columbia.
The Network also will televise the regular-season opener Nov. 8 at home against Southeastern Louisiana and a neutral-site game Nov. 16 against Hawaii at the Sprint Center.
Both preliminary games in the Las Vegas Invitational — Nov 23 against Gardner-Webb and Nov. 25 against IUPUI at Mizzou Arena — also will air on the Mizzou Sports Network along with the Jan. 4 nonconference finale against Long Beach State and junior guard A.J. Spencer, a Shawnee Mission Northwest graduate.
Because Fox Sports Kansas City is distributed throughout the Kansas City area, DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T U-verse and Surewest subscribers will be able to see Mizzou Network games.
In past seasons, with Metro Sports available only to Time Warner and Comcast customers, the Mizzou Network wasn’t available throughout the Kansas City area.
Time Warner and Comcast customers also will get the games on Fox Sports Kansas City now.
