An officer in Lake Mary, Florida stopped a polite, apologetic Zimmerman for going 60 in a 45 miles-per-hour zone.
CBS affiliate WKMG reported that he got a $256 ticket.
Zimmerman, acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, was pulled over for speeding on July 28 near Dallas, Texas.
Lake Mary police tell local media that, unlike the Texas stop, Zimmerman did not have a gun in the car.
The officer in Texas let him go with just a warning.
