Scores on ACT point to many disparities

Although Hispanic students now comprise 18 percent of Kansas’ overall public school enrollment, Hispanic students represented only 11 percent of the 2013 graduates who took the ACT. And in Missouri, where black students are 17 percent of the overall enrollment, they made up only 12 percent of the graduates taking the ACT.
