Kansas City’s Aviation Department will host an open house from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, to discuss preliminary findings of a new terminal environmental assessment.
The open house will not include a discussion on whether to build a new terminal. Instead it is to discuss initial findings related to potential environmental impacts of a new terminal at the airport. Those include noise, land use, air quality, wetlands, surface transportation, construction impacts and other issues.
