No one was hurt in the chase, which began about 11:45 a.m. near Interstate 70 and 23rd Street. Investigators from the department’s Street Crimes Unit pursued the suspect at speeds up to 90 mph and used a tire deflation device to flatten at least one of the suspect’s tires. The suspect stopped in the 5400 block of East 143rd Street and tried to run, but didn’t get far, police said.
