Police investigate fatal shooting in midtown Kansas City

Police responding to a disturbance call north of the Kansas City Art Institute early Thursday found a man who apparently had been shot.

Police received the call about 1:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Warwick Boulevard. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
