Fire destroys vacant house in KCK

A suspected arson fire destroyed a vacant Kansas City, Kan., house Friday morning.

The residence in the 3000 block of North 43rd Street had been vacant since it was damaged in another fire in March, according to city fire officials.

Friday’s fire was reported just before 4:30 a.m. and the building was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Siding on an adjoining house was damaged.

No injuries were reported.
