Robbery suspect rams police car in KCK

A robbery suspect escaped from police in Kansas City, Kan., this morning after ramming a patrol car that was blocking in his vehicle.

The armed robbery was reported at a car wash at 66th Street and State Avenue. The victim was not harmed.

A short time later, officers investigating the crime spotted a suspect vehicle parked at an apartment complex near 65th Street and Tauromee Avenue. As officers began speaking to the the car’s occupant, he slammed the car into reverse and bulled past the patrol car, according to police. The officers were not hurt.
