Kansas City police arrested eight people overnight at a sobriety checkpoint in the Northland.
Police stopped 203 vehicles at the checkpoint that ran from 11 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday at Northeast 46th Street and North Oak Trafficway in Kansas City, North.

In addition to the eight arrests, police reported one driving while suspended or revoked violation; two other traffic violations; three hazardous moving violations and one seat belt violation.
