Go JoCo | Deputies seek help finding man who was shot

The Johnson County Sheriff’s office has asked the FBI and several other law enforcement agencies to help find a man who was shot by deputies as he fled.

On Monday Chad Michael Osborn, 29, tried to run down deputies who were serving a warrant, deputies said. They believe they shot him and also shot a woman who was in the car with him at the 11400 block of West 106th Street.

The woman’s injuries were not life threatening and she was later treated at a hospital. The car was found with bloodstains in it but Osborn remains at large.

“There is nowhere to hide that we can’t find him with the help of our law enforcement partners,” said Sheriff Frank Denning.

Osborn is white, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds and he may be seeking medical help, deputies said.

A warrant was issued for him this year after his probation was revoked related to a domestic violence case. He pleaded guilty two years ago to two counts of battery, fleeing and eluding and battery on a police officer. He tried to run down a police officer who responded then, according to court records.
