Kansas City police find 64-year-old man reported missing Thursday morning

Update: Police said Friday night that William Green had been found safe.

Kansas City police are asking the public for help with finding a 64-year-old man reported missing since late Thursday morning.

William Green was last seen around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of 70th Terrace and Prospect Avenue, according to police. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black shoes at the time.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Green needs dialysis and missed his appointment on Friday.

Anyone who locates Green is asked to call 911 or the department’s missing persons unit at 816-234-5136.
