This is one event at the zoo to which kids are not invited.
The Kansas City Zoo’s annual “Kiss & Tail” party offers a novel and fun way to get in the mood for Valentine’s Day by exploring the mating habits of the wild kingdom.
This year a new show will feature actors from the local Living Room Theatre taking a comedic look at stingrays, pandas and other animals.
“You may blush, you will definitely laugh and you might never look at some animals in the same way again,” the zoo promises.
“Kiss & Tail” begins at 6:30 p.m. Saturday with hors d’oeuvres, drinks and music in the zoo lobby. The performances will be in the auditorium. Tickets are $40 for Friends of the Zoo members and $50 for non-members. They can be purchased at kansascityzoo.org
