Police have identified the woman who died Saturday when a van carrying four adults and eight children drove through a stop sign and crashed with a pickup truck in Lee’s Summit.

Tracy J. Pycior, 36, of Independence was a passenger in the van and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

A fund-raising page for Pycior on the GoFundMe website is seeking support for her family. She was the mother of three children, the site said.

“Tracy was taken from us tragically in a car accident,” said the posting on the site. “She leaves behind three children and was loved by all who knew her.”

The van had been traveling west on Lienweber Road around 4:15 p.m. Police think the van drove through a stop sign at Todd George Road. A northbound pickup truck carrying three people collided with the van. Three people in the van were ejected.

Other people injured in the crash were treated and released, police said.
