To accommodate the demonstration, Grand Boulevard will be closed Saturday morning and afternoon from Pershing to about 25th Street, Smith said.
Emergency no-parking signs will be placed around Washington Square Park.
“If you park on the street in that area, please move your vehicle by Friday night to prevent it from being towed,” Smith wrote.
Drivers can still access Crown Center’s parking garage from the south entrance.
Police plan to be highly visible during the event, Smith said.
