The term refers to a cafeteria-style restaurant offering a choice of meat and up to three vegetable side dishes, Jill Silva reports. “I would love to have Republicans and Democrats sitting at the same table next to each other because food brings people together,” said chef John Smith.

President Donald Trump’s Missouri event, scheduled for Wednesday in Springfield, will be closed to the public, Bryan Lowry reports. Trump will speak at Springfield’s Loren Cook Co. after arriving in Springfield at about 1 p.m.
