The University of Kansas Health System has reached a milestone in the construction of a $100 million facility on its Indian Creek campus in Overland Park.
KU Health is planning a “topping out” ceremony for Monday, when construction crews will place the highest structural beam on its new inpatient/outpatient hospital, which is expected to open next year.
The 122,507-square foot building will include eight operating rooms, 18 new patient rooms and space for an additional 17 beds. It will expand the surgical options on the campus 10720 Nall Avenue, and also include imaging services and a cafeteria.
